Moonridge Animal Park

The Moonridge Animal Park houses many alpine animals indigenous to the mountain terrain in the City of Big Bear Lake. Most of the animals in the zoo have come to the Bear Valley to live, as they can no longer be returned to the wild. For years now, the zoo has functioned as a last sanctuary and has provided many hours of delight to the thousands of visitors. The Moonridge Animal Park is the only one of its’ kind in San Bernardino. The zoo is located at 43285 Goldmine Drive, across from Bear Mountain Ski Resort, in Big Bear Lake. For more information, contact the zoo 909-878-4200 or check out their website here www.BigBearZoo.com.

The Moonridge Animal Park will be moving from its current location in Big Bear Lake to across the lake, next to the Discovery Center. There is a major push to get the funds needed to build a self-sufficient zoo, by the time the zoo loses its lease at its current location. Anyone wishing to donate to the Moonridge Animal Park should click here. There are many ways, both big and small, that you can do to support the zoo.
