Ever wondered if someone is
looking into your computer from the Internet? Or perhaps you wonder which of
the new browsers you should use, how about some free software then you
need to attend the Big Bear Computer Club meeting on Tuesday, July 8,
2008 at the Big Bear Discovery Center located at 40971 N. Shore Drive in
Fawnskin, CA at 5:30 pm. Terry Currier will be the presenter for the
July meeting.
Terry Currier has been am
member of computer clubs since 1985. He is currently President of the
computer club “WINNERS” in Orange County. He has been doing reviews of
computer products for over 10 years. Mr. Currier, stated that, “It is
always fun to see some of the latest technology before it comes to the
stores.” He has done presentations at many different computer user
groups and at the San Diego Southwest Computer Conference. His review
articles have been reprinted in many of the user group newsletters
across the country.

presenting an, “Insight to Digital Photography” at Big Bear Discovery
Center located at 40971 North Shore Drive (Highway 38), Fawnskin, CA.
The Workshop is scheduled for July 16, 2008 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The presenter of the “Insight
to Photography” will be Rick Edwards who is an associate of The Royal
Photographic Society and who perfected his photography while living in
Nairobi watching wildlife in the many parks in Kenya. During his last
two years of his stay in Kenya, Mr. Edwards stated, “I was very proud
that I was assigned as the official photographer for the Kenya Wildlife
Service”. Rick’s work can be seen in numerous brochures, magazines and
books on wildlife and his beloved Kenya. Mr. Edwards will cover many
aspects of photography including the basic skills in photographic
composition in order to elevate an ordinary shot to an extraordinary
one. Edwards is dedicated to developing the essentials that will help
you add an extra dimension to your photographs.
The Big Bear Computer Club
meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm. There is no charge to attend the
general meetings and the public is invited. There will be refreshments
served and door prizes given out at the general meeting. For further
